Go Out And Play!

You are living in an energy field, a potential field of dreams.

The field is like a room around you. It’s a room lit up by the strongest emotion you carry.

Granted at times, that “dominant” emotion can be sadness, loneliness or fear.

You can change that field naturally and easily.

When you d0- it unleashes the law of attraction in your life instantly.

People are like magnets with their personal energy fields. But more often than not, they are pointing the magnet in the wrong direction.

For instance, they say

When I get what I want, then I’ll be fulfilled.”

or

When I find my true love, then I’ll feel better about myself.”

or

When I’m happy, then I’ll feel grateful and blessed.”

It’s all the wrong way round of course.

So what works best?

You create the magnetic field for the thing you desire, in advance.

It’s called “going first”. The universe delights in playing this game with you.

Instead of trying to force things to change, what you do is create an energy space in which the change you desire is compelled to show up.

For instance, If you desire more money landing in your bank account…or to feel the loving embrace of a new partner…or the experience of your body, mind and spirit awakening with health and blissful energy…

Then think first about how that would feel.

What will it be like when your dreams manifest? What will it change about your energy and your attitude?

CREATE THOSE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!

Sure enough, the required abundance will shortly begin to grow and show itself. Just as green shoots appear in springtime. Just as the sun rises in the morning sky.

Can this really, and finally happen for you?

Of course!

By simply doubting you can get the life you want, is also an example of going first. The universe follows suit with more “doubt energy”.

A lot of people fall into this trap. They sadly make life very, very difficult for themselves.

By “going first” with gratitude, hope, positivity,  you literally force the universe to start manifesting your dreams. This philosophy can be summed up in three words… “Field of Dreams”

Just like Kevin Costner in the movie of the same name, you start with building a space. Decide what you want and build an energy field that “points the magnet”.

OK, so he built a baseball field and players showed up.

But you could just as easily build a field for happiness, wealth, true love, wonderful health. Anything you choose to ask of the universe is infinitely more likely to show up in the right magnetic field. This is a scientific fact as powerful as gravity.

Try this out for yourself. It’s simple. All you’re really doing is creating an energy space in which the universe can deliver the corresponding goodies.

If you are personally struggling right now, you are living in the wrong energy field.

And it’s so much easier to change this than you think. You just need to practice pointing the magnet correctly.

You’ll soon get the hang of it.

As you become skilled at the process, the universe will start delivering more and more of what you want into your life.

Another way to achieve this is to rediscover the magical energy of childhood.

Acknowledge the vast seams of hidden treasure in your own consciousness. And be prepared to free it…unleash it in your life.

So much of the joy children are capable of experiencing comes from their natural ability to simply connect to a field of dreams – to tune effortlessly into a magical frequency in which wonderful things appear.

Children just know how to point the magnet. They have their own magical place the adults don’t know about. They still believe they have magical powers (like invisibility and talking silently with animals).

As adults we can re-learn SO much from their beautiful processes.

Imagine walking out the door today and instead of saying to yourself “I’m going to work” …you say, just like a child would

“I’m going out to play!”

You will be creating a field of dreams in your day ahead. And every day would now be a more exciting adventure than the next.

10 Health Benefits Of Playing An Instrument

Have you been feeling sluggish lately? Your Brain doesn’t feel as sharp as it used to?

Have you been looking for a good developmental activity for your kid(s)? The answer might be louder than you think.

Learning a musical instrument has many benefits for health and happiness. Kids and adults both can tune up their brain by playing an instrument.

Even if you’ve never been able to keep a beat or you haven’t picked up sheet music in years, it’s not too late!

Read on to learn ten of the many benefits playing an instrument can have on your life.

Benefits of Playing an Instrument

Increased Coordination

Playing an instrument builds hand-eye coordination. This is because the brain has to translate notes it see’s the act of playing them.

This exchange from the brain to fingertips has to happen fast, at tempo speed. It happens over and over with every note, which makes the brain step up to keep up.

Coordination benefits include athleticism, agility, social skills, and cognitive functioningimprovements. Not to mention it will make your music sound better!

Coordination of the process of playing and reading music at the same time quickens reaction times.

When you play an instrument, the action from your hands/fingers strengthens pathways. Those sensory pathways in your brain get built up and don’t take as long to activate.

Less activation time equals faster reaction time.

Increases Brain Function in Old Age

10 Health Benefits Of Playing An Instrument

Thanks in part to what playing does for coordination, pathways that get strengthened while playing get re-activated each time you play.

Keeping the brain healthy is all about keeping it active. So those sensory pathways your brain uses to help you play are actually keeping it young.

Musicians who have been playing a long time or their whole life, have lower chances of memory issues. Every time they play it’s like a brain workout!

Encourages Self-Expression:

Playing music is a whole-body experience since it involves using different senses at the same time. When you engage in something with more than one sense, you engage more parts of your brain.

Depending on the type of music you play, this can help release emotions.

The less pent up emotions someone has, the happier and less stressed they will be.

Natural Stress Relief

Playing an instrument releases stress, though maybe not during performances. The repetitive motions and familiar notes soothe your brain.

People who play music often are found to have lower blood pressure and less risk of heart disease. Along with other stress-related diseases.

Increases Immune Functioning

Scientists don’t know why exactly, but playing an instrument strengthens immune systems. Part of the reason could be how music lowers stress levels.

People with lower stress levels have immune systems that are stronger. When you worry, it puts your body on high alert, which stresses out your immune system.

Less stress means a better rested and ready to go immune system.

Better Moods

This is a combination of benefits already discussed. Lower stress levels and self-expression together lead to more normal and happy moods.

If you’re happy, you can spend more brain power thinking about other things. Being in a good mindset can assist in making smarter decisions and improves brain function.

Improves Math Skills

Math and music are more similar than you’d think. The idea of a rhythm can be compared to a pattern of numbers.

Playing an instrument and doing a math equation take different sides of the brain. But by training to hear and play rhythms, the brain recognizes math patterns more easily.

Improves Reading and Comprehension

There are a lot of micro-decisions the brain has to make at tempo speed while playing music. Like which combination of fingers makes what note, when to play it, and how long to play it.

These decisions all happening at once help the brain understand complex information. That practice with complex information using different parts of the brain at once helps with reading.

When you read, you keep track of many different bits of information. Your brain is constantly adding and rearranging that as more gets added to the storyline.

Improves School Achievement

This benefit is for people still in school. There are a few theories to why playing an instrument leads to higher scores and IQ’s.

Some people think that people with higher IQ’s have a higher capacity to learn music so they stick with it. Then those are the students who get studied and assessed.

Others think that the increase in intelligence and IQ comes from a more varied education. Remember that brains love activation and music give brains a chance to activate a very specific area.

Both schools of thought have found that the number of music classes and lessons matter. The more music lessons and play sessions you have, the more benefit your brain gets.

Concentration Improves

Like the benefits from coordination, there are many things to keep track of while playing. You need to think about tempo, notes, lengths of notes, harmonies, the pressure needed to make note, etc.

Keeping track of many things at once trains your brain to pay attention to each detail. Your brain does this every moment you play music.

For your concentration, that’s like doing repetitions to get stronger. That concentration strength then translates into other aspects of your life.

Many of these benefits work off of each other. Think about how similar the benefits of playing music are on reading and concentration.

Playing an instrument improves brain health, your physical health, and your academic health. Even if you never play at a professional level.

The benefits of playing an instrument don’t come from being a renowned musician. They come from the actual practice of holding the instrument and reading the sheet music.

If you want these benefits, you’ll need to stick with it over time. The effects build on each other to become more noticeable.

Whether you have a specific instrument in mind or need a new one to refresh old skills, we review the best instruments on the market.

Which instrument are you going to play next?

Unleash Your Originality With CHESS

Better Brain Function: the brain is remarkable – it is responsible for our mental performance and it is the most crucial organ in the human body. When the brain has no stimulation, the cells inside slowly die, it’s an example of “if you don’t use it, you lose it” moto, however, chess is a tool which gives users a rigorous mental workout. Let’s look at a quick example: to get the most benefit from a physical workout, you need to exercise both the left and right sides of your body. Studies show that in order to play chess well, a player must develop and utilize his or her brain’s left hemisphere, which deals with object recognition, as well as the right hemisphere, which deals with pattern recognition. Over time, thanks to the rules and techniques involved in the game, playing chess will effectively exercise and develop not one but both sides of your brain. Scientists also claim that playing chess can improve mental age by up to 14 years. How’s that for a workout?

Improved Cognitive Abilities: Cognitive ability is a very broad term, it includes perception, motor, language, visual and spatial processing and executive functions. This is a big list and it covers almost everything that you do. For example with executive function you can immediately recognize that the thing in front of you is square shaped and not round. While playing chess, EACH cognitive ability is stimulated because the game covers every part of our actions. So the next time you see chess players playing, think about the ‘exercise’ they’re going through.

Strategic Thinking: Chess is considered to be a strategy game – this means that in order to win, you must have a better plan of action than your opponent. But no one is born with the ability to conceive great strategic moves, it must be learned by practicing. To most people, strategy is associated with war and army generals planning their attacks with strategic moves, this example is not far from chess. Just like a general commands his army, a chess player commands his or her own pieces in a battle of black and white. So playing chess greatly improves the ability to develop certain strategies and plans. And no, this benefit is not only useful to army generals and chess players – a good strategic mind is much more productive, because it creates the best plan of action for every daily task. Also, strategic thinking is a life savior in academic and work environments, because everything is planned one step ahead and there’s always a plan B.

Increases problem-solving skills: A chess match requires fast thinking and problem-solving on the fly because your opponent is constantly changing the parameters. A 1992 study conducted on 450 fifth-grade students in New Brunswick indicated that those who learned to play chess scored significantly higher on standardized tests compared to those who did not play chess.

Grounding Yourself To Earth

Joi Earthing at Beach Years of extensive research has shown that connecting to the Earth’s natural energy, by walking barefoot on grass, sand, dirt or rock can diminish chronic pain, fatigue and other ailments that plague so many people today.  This connection is referred to as Earthing or Grounding.

To put it briefly, when your bare feet or skin comes in contact with the earth, free electrons are taken up into the body.  These electrons could be referred to as nature’s biggest antioxidants and help neutralise damaging excess free radicals that can lead to inflammation and disease in the body.  The Earth is a conductor or free electrons and so are all living things on the planet, including us.  The body is composed of mostly of water and minerals which in combination are excellent conductors of electrons from the Earth providing there is direct skin contact or some other conductive channel for them to flow through.

The Earth’s energy upgrades one’s physiology by allowing the body to cope and repair thereby promoting wellbeing, vitality and better sleep.  It also harmonizes and stabilizes the body’s basic biological rhythms, knocks down (and even knocks out) chronic inflammation and reduces and eliminates associated pain, making it the most natural and powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-aging remedy around!  No matter what your age, gender, race or health status you will benefit from a daily dose of Earthing!

BENEFITS EARTHING HAS BEEN SHOWN TO HELP WITH:

    • Defuse the cause of inflammation, and improve or eliminate the symptoms of many inflammation related disorders
    • Reduce or eliminate chronic pain
    • Improve Sleep and promote a deeper sleep
    • Increase energy and vitality
    • Lower stress and promote calmness in the body by cooling down the nervous system and stress hormones
    • Normalize the body’s biological rhythms
    • Thin the blood and improve blood pressure and flow
    • Relieve muscle tension and headaches
    • Lessen hormonal and menstrual symptoms
    • Dramatically speeds healing time and can help prevent bedsores
    • Protect the body against potentially health disturbing environmental electromagnetic fields (EMFs)
    • Accelerate recovery from intense athletic activity

My Personal Experience With Grounding

Just recently I had a severe back injury.  It put me down for days, where getting in and out of the bed was a journey, and using the bathroom was herculione task.  I was 3 days into a Master Cleanse (no food at all), so taking any pain meds was out of the question. So I slept my way thru the 1st two days.  Which was exactly what my body needed anyway.  On the 4th day still in acute pain I decided to try Grounding.

Now I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment complex and it was on and off raining.  But I had to try something. I slowly worked myself down the stairs all bundled up and I found alittle piece of Earth and stood there barefoot (yes it was cold).

I told myself I’d just stand  (really leaning on the building) for 15 minutes. I relaxed into it and when I decided that was enough, It had been 35 minutes! Wow, now this is BIG because I hate to be cold.  But a calm came over me and time slipped away as did a good amount of the Pain!
I went on back up stairs, this time with alittle more ease than when I came down, and continued to feel a sense of calm and like I might actually Dance again💃🏿
Since then I’ve Grounded myself several times and even went to the Beach, and that was the best.  I slipped my pants down abit and put my Butt in the sand where my back pain was. I stayed there over an hour covered up of course.  I’m a believer , I love the feeling of our Earth next to my skin and I can feel the healing energy She will share if we dare.❤️

Are You Aware of Your Body Language?

Speaking Withоut Wоrdѕ

Mоѕt  body language iѕ соmmuniсаtеd оn аn unconscious lеvеl. It hаѕ аn extensive influеnсе оn thе quаlitу of оur mеѕѕаgе. Frоm thiѕ, we саn соnсludе that it would bе a good idеа tо bесоmе conscious оf оur and the оthеr’ѕ bоdу lingо. Thе intеrрrеtаtiоn depends оn thе situation, the culture, the relationship we hаvе with thе реrѕоn аѕ well аѕ the gеndеr of thе оthеr.

Bоdу lаnguаgе iѕ used рrimаrilу tо еxрrеѕѕ feelings. Fоr instance, if wе аrе fond оf someone, it is often diffiсult tо say thаt dirесtlу tо thе реrѕоn. It iѕ, оn the оthеr hand, more ассеѕѕiblе tо make our feelings сlеаr (intеntiоnаllу оr unintеntiоnаllу) thrоugh bоdу language.

Rеѕеаrсh hаѕ ѕhоwn thаt mоѕt реорlе рау more аttеntiоn tо, and bеliеvе more rеаdilу, thеir impression оf how a person acts through bоdу language than what iѕ said through wоrdѕ.

It is оf vital imроrtаnсе that wе knоw аnd (tо a сеrtаin еxtеnt) соntrоl our bоdу language. Thе rесiрiеnt of оur body lаnguаgе can hаvе a fееling that is often difficult to dеѕсribе, to рut into wоrdѕ or to рrоvе that ѕоmеthing wаѕ communicated. But it wаѕ. We hаvе all ѕurеlу said tо оurѕеlvеѕ: ‘I think he/she dоеѕ not like me’ оr ‘I do nоt bеliеvе whаt wаѕ said.’ It iѕ саllеd intuitiоn, and bоdу language plays a huge rоlе аѕ it gives us mеѕѕаgеѕ about thе other реrѕоn thаt we саn intеrрrеt at an intuitivе level.

Signs Of Nеgаtivе Body Lаnguаgе

Diѕрlауing аnу оf the fоllоwing ѕignаlѕ can be warning ѕignаlѕ of lack оf interest.

1. Armѕ Crоѕѕеd. Anу dеfеnѕivе сlоѕеd-uр bоdу posture indiсаtеѕ a barrier bеtwееn two people whеn thеу’rе соnvеrѕing.

2. Turning hiѕ оr her bоdу аwау from уоu or giving no rооm fоr minimаl physical contact. Aѕ one gеtѕ unintеrеѕtеd in ѕоmеоnе, one triеѕ to mоvе away and rеduсе contact, and mоѕt fоrmѕ оf соnnесtiоn between the раrtiеѕ.

3. Inattentiveness tо whаt you аrе ѕауing.

4. Lack of еуе соntасt аnd ѕtаring аwау frоm уоur glаnсеѕ. Shiftу еуеѕ аnd blinking eyes саn indicate dесерtiоn.

5. Frequent head nоdding indiсаtеѕ a loss of connection mоѕt of thе timе.

6. Yawning May indiсаtе a state of boredom and iѕ a sure sign оf lack оf intеrеѕt.

Signs Of Pоѕitivе Bоdу Lаnguаgе

The fоllоwing аrе good indiсаtоrѕ оf intеrеѕt being diѕрlауеd bу уоur раrtnеr.

1. High level оf eye соntасt аnd blinking. If a реrѕоn likеѕ another, thеу trу tо mаtсh thе оthеr blink rаtе and kеер in sync with it, which iѕ both fun and then to increase the аttrасtiоn bеtwееn thеm. Intense flirting will оftеn rеѕult in eye tо еуе соntасt аѕ wеll аѕ lооk lоng аnd hard аt the mоuth.

2. Nodding. A little nodding iѕ a good ѕign if it iѕ done periodically аѕ оnе ѕреаkѕ, indicating that уоu’rе оn thе ѕаmе wаvеlеngth.

3. Increased рhуѕiсаl соntасt. If thе touching is warm rаthеr than suggestive, thеrе is рrоgrеѕѕ in communication..

4. Bоdу positioning by leaning fоrwаrd аnd being in a relaxed position pointing in the dirесtiоn оf thе реrѕоn оf аttrасtiоn iѕ аn all-too-good sign оf intеrеѕt. Thеѕе break the bаrriеrѕ dоwn indicating a non-defensive аnd open mind thаt iѕ rеlаxеd аnd соmfоrtаblе.

5. Mirroring. Power Of Body Language

Thе power of bоdу lаnguаgе iѕ fоund in the emotional rеѕроnѕе it сrеаtеѕ. Feelings drivе dесiѕiоnѕ аnd rеасtiоnѕ in virtuаllу every situation. Thе interpretation of thеѕе cues can determine whо wе date, thе job we gеt hirеd fоr, whаt lеvеl оf ѕuссеѕѕ we obtain, аnd even who may bе еlесtеd intо influеntiаl роlitiсаl роѕitiоnѕ. With ѕuсh a ѕignifiсаnt ѕkill whу don’t wе ѕреnd уеаrѕ learning and dеvеlорing practical body lаnguаgе skills? The truth iѕ most реорlе undеrvаluе the imроrtаnсе оf body language until they аrе lооking fоr a dеереr undеrѕtаnding of human bеhаviоr in a реrѕоnаl rеlаtiоnѕhiр, оr gаining an edge in a соmреtitivе business ѕituаtiоn. Mastery оf body lаnguаgе рrоvidеѕ реорlе with thе keys tо intеrрrеting the mеаning behind ѕресifiс gestures аnd bоdу mоvеmеnt, аѕ wеll аѕ рrоviding аn understanding of hоw to project and communicate mеѕѕаgеѕ effectively.

The Happy Vitamins

B and C Vitamins and Adrenal Function

B vitamins the happy vitamins. They make you feel great when you have enough of them. And guess what helps you absorb them? You got it – good gut flora. You can’t absorb what you need without lots of the right microbes in your gut. When you lack the right microbes, the results are emotions that run amuck and an overall feeling of despair or anxiety. Your adrenal glands manufacture a number of hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline, aldosterone, estrogen, and testosterone that regulate body fluid balance, blood pressure, blood sugar, and other central metabolic functions and help your body cope with stress. Each of the B vitamins is essential when you have any kind of stress, be it physical or emotional. It helps with everything from mood to DNA synthesis to energy production. Strong emotions cause the adrenals to release extra reserves of  the stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol. And, because the production of these hormones requires a lot of nutrients, including B vitamins and magnesium, excessive emotional demands will exhaust the adrenals. A “nervous breakdown” is actually adrenal fatigue, or when the adrenal glands can’t deal with the amount of stress they’re experiencing. Adrenaline is closely connected with the sympathetic nervous system. Perhaps the very reason you are having these strong emotions is because of things going on in your gut as well?

In this article from The Verge, (see article here) UCLA researchers showed in one 2013 proof-of-concept study that healthy women who consumed (twice daily for four weeks) a drink with four added probiotic strains showed significantly altered brain functioning on an MRI brain scan. The women’s brains were scanned while they looked at photos of angry or sad faces, and then asked to match those with other faces showing similar emotions.

Those who had consumed the probiotic drink showed significantly lower brain activity in the neural networks that help drive responses to sensory and emotional behavior. The research is “groundbreaking,” says Cryan the researcher, because it’s the first trial to show that probiotics could affect the functioning of the human brain.

Lots of B12 in Kefir

Most B vitamins act as co-enzymes, which means that they help form enzymes to become catalysts in biochemical transformations throughout your body. When you have enough, you can feel it. Your mood will shift and I believe it is one of the big reasons I feel happy most of the time. All the cultured foods have B vitamins in them and having good flora in your gut helps you absorb and use these critical vitamins. One cup of milk kefir has half of the B12 you need in a day. I always have two cups of kefir for this very reason, B12 keeps me calm and feeling good. B12 keeps the body’s nerves and blood cells healthy, helps make DNA, and prevents anemia.

One cup gives you 700 milligrams of vitamin C

Another key vitamin that is abundant in cultured foods is vitamin C,  which is also key in helping support your adrenals and a myriad of other process in the body as well. Vitamin C is absolutely essential for adrenal function. Vitamin C will allow you to respond properly to life’s stressors and recover more quickly from them. Cultured foods not only supply you with a ton of vitamin C (one cup is 700 milligrams of vitamin C)  but they also allow you to better absorb  it throughout the body. Good microbes heal the the gut and allow better absorption and digestion from all your foods. Cultured vegetables and kefir are abundant in vitamins C and B. Vitamin C has many, many functions in the body and since it is water-soluble, and not stored by the body and is eliminated in urine, we require a continuous daily supply in our diet.

Change the bacteria in your gut by adding probiotic foods. Heal and nourish your adrenals and watch your mood lift and your body heal.

“I am what I am because of who we all are” -Ubuntu

“Ubuntu is a philosophy that considers the success of the group above that of the individual.” Stephen Lundin- Ubuntu!

The word ‘Ubuntu‘ originates from one of the Bantu dialects of Africa, and is pronounced as uu-Boon-too. It is a traditional African philosophy that offers us an understanding of ourselves in relation with the world. According to Ubuntu, there exists a common bond between us all and it is through this bond, through our interaction with our fellow human beings, that we discover our own human qualities. Or as the Zulus would say, “Umuntu Ngumuntu Ngabantu”, which means that a person is a person through other persons. We affirm our humanity when we acknowledge that of others. The South African Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu describes Ubuntu as:

‘It is the essence of being human. It speaks of the fact that my humanity is caught up and is inextricably bound up in yours. I am human because I belong. It speaks about wholeness, it speaks about compassion. A person with Ubuntu is welcoming, hospitable, warm and generous, willing to share. Such people are open and available to others, willing to be vulnerable, affirming of others, do not feel threatened that others are able and good, for they have a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that they belong in a greater whole. They know that they are diminished when others are humiliated, diminished when others are oppressed, diminished when others are treated as if they were less than who they are. The quality of Ubuntu gives people resilience, enabling them to survive and emerge still human despite all efforts to dehumanize them.” – [reference 1]

African children

“An anthropologist studying the habits and customs of an African tribe found himself surrounded by children most days. So he decided to play a little game with them. He managed to get candy from the nearest town and put it all in a decorated basket. at the foot of a tree. Then he called the children and suggested they play the game. When the anthropologist said “now”, the children had to run to the tree and the first one to get there could have all the candy to him/herself.So the children all lined up waiting for the signal. When the anthropologist said “now”, all of the children took each other by the hand ran together towards the tree. They all arrived at the same time divided up the candy, sat down and began to happily munch away. The anthropologist went over to them and asked why they had all run together when any one of them could have had the candy all to themselves. The children responded: “Ubuntu. How could any one of us be happy if all the others were sad?”Ubuntu is a philosophy of African tribes that can be summed up as “I am what I am because of who we all are.” [reference 2]

“A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed” -Desmond Tutu

“One of the sayings in our country is Ubuntu – the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can’t exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can’t be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality – Ubuntu – you are known for your generosity. We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole World. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity.” -Desmond TutuAfrican children
